Kids from a particular breeding can be reserved by emailing me (buffy1270@bellsouth.net) and asking to be put on a waiting list for that breeding. The waiting list operates on a first come, first served basis. I will contact buyers on the waiting list in the order I received their emails for each kidding once kids have been born. These buyers will have first refusal for kids before I put them on the website. I do not take deposits before kids are born. After kids are born, they can be reserved with a $50 deposit per kid. This deposit is nonrefundable. Plans for picking up kids are the buyer's responsibility. Kids should be picked up within two weeks after weaning unless other arrangements have been made or a boarding fee of $2 per day will be assessed. I reserve the right to retain kids from any breeding and to remove animals from the sales list at my discretion. I also reserve the right to decide if buck kids are herd sire quality or if they should be wethered. Any buck kid not reserved before 8 weeks of age will be wethered regardless of potential as a herd sire.
When emailing about a particular breeding, please include the breeding you are interested in and whether you prefer a doe, buck or wether kid from that breeding. Please include a second choice breeding also.
All breeding stock on this farm is registered with NDGA (Nigerian Dwarf Goat Association), AGS (American Goat Society), and ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association).
I am scheduled to have CAE, Johnnes, Brucellosis, and CL testing done this year. I am also a voluntary participant in the Scrapie Eradication Program.
All animals are guaranteed healthy and free of disqualifying faults upon leaving this farm. I guarantee fertility and will replace any infertile animal contingent upon receiving a veterinarian's statement that the infertility was genetic and not the result of inadequate care or other extenuating circumstances. I am unable to control the care and environment of the animal after it leaves this farm so I do not offer any further guarantees.
Any further costs due to extra testing, returning of an animal, transportation, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer.
I do not ship kids since I feel it is too stressful for them. You are welcome to pick up your kid at the farm. In some cases, meeting buyers halfway may be an option for an extra fuel/transportation fee to be paid by the buyer.
All of my kids are dam raised but receive plenty of human attention so most are very friendly. Kids will be disbudded, tattooed, wormed, and have at least their first CD/T shots before leaving the farm. I wean kids at around 8 to 12 weeks of age and will not let them leave the farm earlier.
